Water Baptism
THE MEANING OF BAPTISM
Baptism is an identification event. Going under the water symbolizes the death of Christ. Coming up out of the water represents the resurrection of Christ. When we go under the water, it’s symbolic of the fact that we have died to ourselves and self-centered living. When we come back out of the water we are symbolizing our new life in Christ!
Romans 6:4, “For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”
Baby Dedications
Sign-up to have your baby dedicated to the Lord with your family, friends, and home church showering their love and prayer on this momentous day in your child’s life! This brief ceremony gathers family and loved ones to pray over the baby’s life and commit to raising this child according to Christian beliefs.
Food Bank
Do not miss our food distribution every Thursday! Get registered and your ticket at 6:30pm. Remember, it is not necessary to be attend the service, all are welcome.
